Research
Special interest groups that meet every month.
Special Interest Groups represent iNOTESs. They work on new developments in their field of natural orifice surgery and conduct research in accordance with the IDEAL guidelines, to ensure safe implementation. Each group is a long-term assembly of members with specific expertise in a subspecialty of NOTES, meeting monthly to discuss and evaluate new developments.

iNOTESs Case Registry
To validate NOTES, it is important to register as many procedures as possible. We can only get objective information on the incidence of complications if all procedures are registered.
Please fill out the intra-operative registry at the end of every NOTES procedure, even if no complication occurred. If there is any deviation from the normal postoperative course, or an early or late complication, also fill out the postoperative registry.
All patient data are registered anonymously. Surgeons can choose to remain anonymous. Surgeons who register their procedures are invited to co-author publications based on the registry.
Hysterectomy Complication Risk Calculator
Estimate a patient’s risk of complications before hysterectomy, based on data from the iNOTESs registry.
